Project Pretty Little Cravings

Few years ago, I fell in love at first sight. It was like heavens thoughtful act that we met at the right time. I was in need of a breather and a cozy nook to relieve the stress I was in. I heard retail therapy also works at that time, but I’m pinching some for a future big event then. So, I was really happy to be spending quality down time with this new found love, authentic budget-friendly, Swedish home decor store — Ikea. Oh, the days I spent just wandering around Ikea store, no matter how I already memorized the interior maze still brings about a gratified feeling.

When I finally settled down and owned a place to decorate and fill with all the gorgeous furnitures and fixtures, Ikea was not available readily in the Philippines. And I cringe at how expensive Manila resellers market these items.

Fast forward to 2013, I  decided to start a little project, called Pretty Little Cravings on Instagram. We were furnishing our newly turned-over condo unit and I just had to ship few items from Singapore where we were based. I figured out I can save on shipping cost if I take some orders from people who were just like me, eager to get their hands on some few pieces from Ikea. The project was well received and up until now, I still can’t believe that a lot of our avid followers are also returning customers.

If the Shoe Doesn’t fit, Must we change the foot?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of If The Shoe Doesnt Fit. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was at the mall couple of days ago, strolling like any other day, when I found out a lovely store with all the shoes I could ever imagine taking home. It’s like getting lost in paradise with a bunch of shoe-shopping addicts as well. lol.

Although the pairs I love are not on sale, I still had to fight the urge on pulling out my credit card, and buy a new love at that very instant. Well, not yet. I will be here long enough to witness a mall-wide sale, I thought to myself. Until then, I have to get hold to the last shoe purchase I made.

I couldn’t fathom the thought of fighting for a new kicks though when the sale comes up. I know the place will be flooded with giddy girls rummaging the stocks, and I will be left without my shoe size. How sad.

Would it be great if it will be easier to Sell, swap or shop for shoes online? Then we don’t have to worry about falling inline to make a payment or wasting time out to find if the store stocks your size.

At If The Shoe Doesnt Fit you’ll get a fabulous treat! For only $1 you’ll get to list your unworn or gently used shoes and see if others might be interested in taking it. At the same time, you get to chose with so many collections, that you will be surprise at how much bargain you can take in just minute.

Holistic Retreat : Zenyu Eco Spa

I’ve been in search for an alternative spa center to escape, unwind and rejuvenate for months now. Not much had appeal to me until fellow blogger, Ia of IaAdamLim, invited me for an afternoon of complete healing at one of the first eco-friendly day spas in the Philippines.

Nestled deep in the heart of Metro Manila, at the 3rd floor of Manila Ocean Park complex, the Philippines’ first state-of-the-art Oceanarium, open water marine habitat, boutique mall and function facilities at the back of the Quirino Grandstand. Zenyu Eco Spa is right next to Hotel H2O, the Philippines’ first aquarium-themed chic urban getaway. Continue reading

Laughter Yoga & Yogurt Jelly for Good Health

When Nuffnang sent an invite for another bloggers event last weekend, I didn’t hesitate to confirm my attendance. Got quite intrigue about Laughter Yoga and the blogger’s launch of Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt with Jelly.

I spent an afternoon at Julius Maggi Kitchen in Nestlè, Rockwell last Saturday. Surprisingly it was Ogilvy peeps welcoming us again.

Mike Unson hosted the Nestle event and kept the mood light, happy and lively. He’s a stand-up comedian that offers a  fresh kind of humor. He entertained us with pure unadulterated humor and new acts ’till the end. Does he look like Vandolph? lol. Continue reading

The Things Newlywed Should Know

After the excitement, wonderful, intense preparation to marriage, newlyweds are left with only a little time to realize that marriage isn’t at all, sugar and spice and everything nice.

Most people spent countless hours to prepare for the wedding, taking for granted the more important aspect of married life which should begin as early as the engagement period.

I had a couple and more issues I know most newlyweds had endured. This I got to share with my single girls out there and maybe for those newly married who seemed to be clueless on what in the world has taken their lives now.

Reality bites. A no-holds barred information which aims to save a blossoming marriage. Continue reading

Beauty for Less: Using Virgin Coconut Oil

Few months ago, I decided to made a gradual change towards living green. Most of my family and friends knew I don’t like veggies and milk. I still do until this day, I’m so bad. I hope change comes my way soon. But aside from my daily fix of almost black coffee (I took the liberty  of removing the creamer and less sugar to my usual cup), I increased my water intake to help my body fight the toxins I consume. What’s more is I have already developed a love for tea. Was it a major change? I still remember my fb status by the time I started drinking my first cup, it tasted really awful. But I did passed that stage, and now I’m loving green mint tea and its benefits. I’d love to discuss it next time here.

Yesterday marked a milestone too. I have been researching for a while now on the essential uses and benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil and finally got the time to try it.
