The Phantom of the Opera in Singapore

My last vague memory of Phantom of the Opera was in 2004, on my birthday, when my aunt brought me along with my cousins to watch the film adaptation. That long ago and I still dream to witness how grand the production will be in Broadway, well next to Les Misérables.

Raoul, Erik and Christine’s complicated love story is complimented  by impressive musical score by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Dramatic scenes are cut to be the most spine-tingling performance. Continue reading

The Hunger Games : Catching Fire Trailer

Dear November, please hurry up. I can’t wait to see the latest installment of The Hunger Games series in theater. A sneak peek trailer debuted at the recent MTV Movie Awards 2013 and it never failed to impress. I’m obsessed with the book and Catching Fire’s character Peeta Mellark is an ultimate crush. The Girl on Fire, Katniss Everdeen is fierce as ever.

OMG! Carrie & Aidan

Okay this is a bit of delayed reaction.

I just watched the movie trailer of Sex & the City 2 and OMG! Carrie and Aidan are back together? Awww… they look so cute and I can feel love emanating from the screen. Haha.   I’ve always been a fan of them both and felt bad when things didn’t work out. I love Aidan more than Mr. Big. Can’t wait for a movie date.

Miranda, Samantha, Charlotte and Carrie looked fierce than ever. They look beyond gorgeous from the scorching heat of Abu Dhabi desert. Spell fab in the midst of the sand dunes!

The Latest Hollywood Celebrity Gossip

Early this morning I got my dose of entertainment from Hollywood celebrity gossip.

I read about Lindsay Lohan getting fired from her latest film. It’s not that I’m a big fan but poor girl, it’s been ages since I last saw her decent photo or even heard an upcoming movie project she’s been doing. The current celeb news is that she stole a $35,000 Rolex. Of course her camp denied it.

Edward, Bella and Jacob were hot items too, as the 3rd installment on the Twilight Saga, Eclipse creates a buzz all over town. I can’t wait to see the movie too. Although, I’m yet to finish reading the New Moon book, the upcoming film made me more sleepless. Continue reading

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Yet another movie adaptation of a hit book series, this time from Sophie Kinsella, “Confessions of a Shopaholic”.

Isla Fisher played the main character as Rebecca Bloomwood who got layed off from her job, was rejected from an interview and has a whooping US$9,000+++ credit card debts. This is just the start of all her dilemma. You know a girl has a strong urge to shop. Well, every girl at some point has probably passed that stage. It’s just that hers has a domino effect, and… well, I can’t tell you the whole stuff. Watch it over girlfriends. I bet its still showing or will be shown at your favorite theatres.

Rebecca Bloomwood, did you just type “good angles on APR?” into google.
