For stressful days and restless nights, beyond working hard, shopping is the ultimate  retail therapy. It can heal your broken heart, it takes you to places and sometimes, it makes you wild and crazy.

My new love : Charles & Keith Wedge / Pump Shoes in Cream

One thing I will never forget about lectures on corporate dressing is that when you’re in doubt, dress up! You can’t go wrong, even on a bad hair day.

Since I will be exploring new opportunities again, this is something I’d love to walk in. I’m not a fan of platform wedge shoes  in terms of using it for a professional, conservative environment, but this one takes the cake. There’s an edgy look into it that takes the ordinary Mary Jane into something more fabulous. It’s soft and comfortable. The pumps border between modern and vintage.  I love it more than my stiletto.

This C&K shoes was first featured by Liz. She have it in muted taupe shade.  Thanks to her, my shoe hunting trip was cut off from two days into minutes by directly dashing to  Charles & Keith Store at Bonifacio High Street. Damage : P1,199.00 and it’s so worth the price. I know our love affair will last longer.

Beaded flats from Bangkok

This color beaded flats are quite a steal from our shopping spree in Bangkok. From a stall called Pixels at one of the sprawling malls of Thailand’s capital, it’s not impossible to find cheap, hip and trendy footwear. Afterall, Bangkok is a well-known shopping mecca for shopaholics. I have a feeling that I’ll be back soon.

The vibrant colors compliment any regular outfit and a good statement piece too. It’s funky, cute and stylish! The best news is that it only cost 390 baht or about P550.

A girl can’t resist falling head over heels, can I?

Forever 21 is an American chain of clothing retailers throughout the United States, Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates and more. This month,  it finally opens it’s first ever Philippine Store.

Last July 2, 2010, Forever 21 officially opened it’s door at the 2nd level of SM Megamall A in Mandaluyong, Philippines to cater the Filipino market.

I absolutely adore the spacious store and the extensive collection when I got to visit this weekend. In Dubai, my friends and I can lounge at Forever 21 and try different outfits and never get tired the whole day. Good thing they almost have the whole block in Megamall, it makes the store roomy despite the bulk of people going in and out. There are several Dressing Rooms for everyone. Oh, and got a view of Heart Evangelista roaming around.

I can’t help it but shopped for few good pieces. Their prices are almost the same with Internet based shopping and US-based flagship store. The company that brought this successful fashion outlet in the Philippines is SM group. With that, don’t forget to swipe in your SM advantage cards when shopping.

Legend has it that couples married on the month of June will live a blissful life ever after. No wonder it is a popular month for weddings.

Planning my own wedding last year had put me through some rough and exciting times. I did not became a June Bride nor did my dream of becoming an 888 Bride happen, nevertheless,  it was a beautiful celebration on a cold month of December.

I find some wedding tradition and customs not appropriate to me and my husband’s personality but the quote above is an exception. Somehow, I got pretty excited preparing for it. So let’s see if I can help you rock your wedding day. ♥
